Kalavrita 2013 downhill race

We love Kalavrita, everythink about it is good: organization, trail, village and food!!

We had almost the full team over there on that Peloponisos Mountain:

Philip, Irene, Marios BigPapa, Panos, Alessio and Dimitris

Marios Big Papa proved that , even after a scary crash in practice, can be lethal on the All Mountain bike and closed in the 2nd place

Alessio finished 4th in the Master category, good result considering it was his second race after a 4 month forced stop.

Well done to the Juniors , Philip and Panos getting faster and faster also is a track demanding like kalavrita, and Irene, only woman racing, keeping the pace of most of the men!!

Meteora DH race - Greek Downhill open cup RECAP & VIDEO

Well done to Marios BigPapa 5th place at the 4th episode of the Greek Downhill cup in Kalambaka on Meteora trail!

First race in Orestis life!!! 33rd Elite place WELL DONE

Dimi didn't make it to the final with his All Mountain bike...well nobody told him he had to qualify...NEXT TIME for mr Karpuzos

First race also for Panos, too bad he had a technical and raced without chain... 

this is Greece!!!

AIR RAID Downhill RACE - Momentum 1st win

Camo BigPAPA for the Air Battle

First Win for our Marios "BigPAPA" Papasimakopoulos ar the AIR RAID Freeride/Downhill race.

 

 A funny race well organized in an abandon Militay Base on the top af Keratea village in Attika, near Athens.

Well done to Phillip Potsios 3rd place in the Junior category and getting stronger and stronger !

Greek Downhill Cup race 3 - Supertrail Giannina

 

The 26th of May around 60 Greek Downhill riders took part at the 3rd race of the DH cup of Greece.

Supertrail is not a "joke name" looks like for the first time this year we were in front or a read downhill hard core trail. Jumps, drops, dust, rocks and roots !!!

Our Marios "BigPAPA" Papasimakopoulos at his first Official race this year had a fantastic seeding run in 2nd place (time 2:45.699) behind the Greek cup leader Kostantinos Andriotis ( time 2:36.343) but in the race a tree branch got in his wheel braking few spokes and ending his chances of victory.

Andriotis also crashed and the same the other favorite rider John Yannou, leaving an easy win to the fast and always consistent Dimitri Oikonomou (time 2:48.988).
